Check with your insurance

If you have insurance, contact your insurance company to see if you can ‘cash pay’ the provider (Wendy Magana ARNP). Even if she is out- of network, some insurance plans may not allow you to make cash payments or may not cover orders placed by her.

You can use insurance for other services

If your insurance allows it, you can utilize it for services outside of CuraDirect Healthcare such as laboratories, community imaging centers or pharmacies.

Payment is required at the time of service

Payment is collected at time of service, there will be no surprise bills from CuraDirect Healthcare.

Transparent pricing

CuraDirect provides transparent pricing in our “Non-covered services fee schedule”.
We can also provide a good faith estimate of expected charges prior to a visit or inform you of fees at time of visit.

No long-term primary care to non-members.

Non-member services are intended for straight-forward visits. Please be aware that the provider offers timely access to care but cannot guarantee long-term primary care to non-members. If you are interested in these services, please explore DPC services or establish with an outside PCP.

If I don’t want to or can’t be a member, can you be my primary care provider?

Regrettably, we cannot guarantee long-term or routine primary care for non-members. In order to offer personalized and accessible direct primary care, we must keep our patient panel manageable. We recommend non-members find a primary care provider and we can help bridge care for simple, acute or urgent visits. We encourage patients to consider becoming a direct patient and member of ours to ensure high-quality primary care.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept various payment methods, such as credit/debit cards, checks, cash, and Venmo. At checkout, you will have the option to choose your preferred payment method.

Since I am not a member, can you bill my insurance?

No. We don’t bill insurances. This allows us to prioritize patient care and focus on their needs. It helps minimize administrative tasks and results in cost savings for both parties.

If you don’t bill my insurance, can my insurance reimburse me?

It is entirely dependent on your insurance carrier and their process or requirements. We are available to help by providing invoices, medical records or receipts as needed.

If I receive care from your provider, will my primary care provider be notified?

Upon your request and signature of a release form, we can send your medical records to your primary care provider by fax.

Are labs, diagnostics or medications included in the visit fee?

No, but they are affordable and fees can be found on our “Non-covered services fee schedule.”

Do you offer a discount if I decide to become a member after a visit?

Yes, your visit fee covers your initial month’s membership fee.

Can I get an estimate ahead of a visit if I’m self-pay?

We can provide a good faith estimate of expected charges to patients at least 3 business days before a scheduled service, or upon request

Non-members pay a visit fee PLUS any additional medications, supplies or testing for acute, straight-forward care. In-house labs and testing are more cost-effective than traditional primary care offices.

Membership Fees

Members pay a monthly fee for unlimited visits and communication with provider for routine visits, preventative care, as well as chronic illnesses and urgent medical needs. Additional services are wholesale priced or greatly discounted.
