There’s a New Provider in Town

Hello, I’m Wendy Magana

Hey there! I’m the newest provider in town, and you know what? I’m a local!

I was born and raised in the Snohomish area. Alongside my large, Mexican immigrant family, I was raised on the local dairy farms and I am so proud to be from both ‘here and there’.

Our family had a trusted primary care provider who inspired me to pursue a similar path. After graduating from Monroe High School, I attended Pacific Lutheran University for my nursing degree.

Discover My Journey

I worked as a Critical-Care Registered Nurse in Trauma and Intensive Care Units, as well as a Charge Nurse in Pre- and Post-Anesthesia Care Units.

I pursued my graduate education at the University of Washington, I obtained a Doctorate degree in Nursing, and become board-certified in Family Practice.

For the past several years, I have worked as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at a Family Medicine Clinic and an Urgent Care Clinic.

My Commitment

For over 15 years, I have cared for people of all ages; from newborn to end-of-life. I have experience with critically ill patients and those in good health. For this reason, I understand the importance of staying healthy, preventing illness and managing acute and chronic conditions.

My passion is utilizing my knowledge and skills in critical, acute, primary and urgent care, to empower patients to take control of their well-being.

I am excited to revive the traditional family clinic with you as a patient, and I as your primary care provider.

My Personal Interests

I enjoy anything related to the outdoors, family activities, homesteading, or hobby-farming!

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two children. We love spending time outdoors, especially gardening, harvesting and preserving our homegrown food. We have a little farm and care for our sheep, goats, ducks, quails and peacocks. Our dogs; Ecko and Teca, enjoy hunting and have unlimited energy. We go on camping trips, day trips to the city, and weekend getaways.

Although less frequent than before, we enjoy visiting Mexico to reconnect with our roots and immerse in the vibrant culture.
